If art could be sculpted into a human form, it would definitely have taken the form of Late Khyyam Sarhadi. He was the most seasoned actor that Pakistani media had produced. Mr. Khayyam Sarhadi was a multitalented actor. He started his acting career from theatre, and this played a great role in polishing his artistic skills. Later on, he switched to Radio.

From Radio, he then switched his line to Drama genre. Some of his most popular dramas are: ‘Man Chale Ka Sauda’, ‘Waris’, ‘Anokha Ladla’, ‘Meri Zaat Zara-e-Benishan’ and ‘Sooraj Kay Saath Saath’. Sarhadi also worked in films like, ‘Daakoo’, ‘Hum Loag’, ‘Footpath’, and ‘Awaz’. But he did not continue for long in the film industry despite giving a few hit movies.  His work in ‘Man Chale Ka Sauda’ was highly appreciated. The play was written by Ashfaq Ahmed. The play brought great fame to him.

Khyyam Sarhadi was one of the best actors of Pakistani dramas. He was a very devoted actor. He died during the shoot of a drama, on February 3rd 2011, due to major cardiac arrest. He was 63 years old. Khyyam Sarhadi left behind two widows, TV actress Atiya Sharaf and Film actress Saiqa, and three daughters. The famous model and TV actress Zhalay Sarhadi is his niece. Khyyam Sarhadi is irreplaceable. He was very passionate about his work. He was not just a good actor, but also a great human being. His daughter, Zhaley Sarhadi has also started acting and she is known for a handful of her TV serial roles.

Hassam Qazi was a great and one of the best actors of PTV Quetta center. Hassam Qazi was very passionate and dedicated about his work. He was a very devoted artist.

Hassam Qazi joined Radio Pakistan, Quetta centre, as a Balochi news reader, during his student life. After completion of his education, he adopted education line as his profession. He started his career as a lecturer of Commerce.

Later on, Mr. Qazi joined theatre with his friend Jamal Shah. After getting the experience in theatre, He joined TV, and started his acting career in dramas. His first play was Khaali Hath which was in Baluchi language. His first Urdu play  was Chaon which was aired in 1986.

Some of his popular plays are , Sangchoor, Choan, Khaal Haath, Pinjra, Marvi, Violin Aur Munazza to name a few. He gained immense success and fame through Sangchoor and Marvi. He played a negative role in Marvi and gained a lot of appreciation. Unfortunately, we lost such a fine artist very soon. On June 3rd, 2004, he died due to colossal heart attack in the city of Karachi. He was only 43 years old when he died.

Today it has been 8 years, since Late Mr. Hassam Qazi is not with us. But he will always remain alive in our hearts. He was indeed a great human being and a very true friend. Hassam Qazi is among those actors who are respected, followed and loved by the audiences from all over Pakistan.

Sami khan’s real name is Mansoor Ali Khan Niazi. He was born on July 6, 1980, to a rich family in Pakistan. He completed his education in Engineering from UET Lahore. This young replica of film star Nadeem, started his career from silver screen. Sami Khan’s first film was Salakhain in 2004. But soon, he switched his line to Television and since then is highly busy in doing several dramas, from different channels of media. On Television he made his debut in Dil se Dil tak, on PTV channel.

Till now Sami Khan has appeared in various dramas, but he gained huge respect, love and popularity from Dil se Dil tak, Main Chand si, Maye ni, Tootay huay par and Umm-e-kulsoom. Sami khan says that “it is Allah’s plan for me that brought me into this field and now it is just Allah’s blessings and my fans love and prayers that have made me survive here”. Sami also won the award for Best Actor in the 16th PTV awards ceremony, held on July 23, 2011.

Have you watched Azizi?  The whole world is watching him on ‘Hasb-e-Hal’. Well, I am talking about the most famous comedian, actor, writer, Director and Host Sohail Ahmed, famously known as Azizi.

Sohail Ahmed’s real name is Sohail Akram Butt. He belongs to a Policeman’s family, based in Gujranwala. Sohail Ahmed completed his education from Gujranwala. He started his career from Stage plays and did various tremendous comedy stage plays. His stage plays are not vulgar, but are an outspoken opposition of vulgarity.

Sohail Ahmed is, nowadays, best known as his character’s name Azizi in a current affair show Hasb-e-haal, which comes on Dunya TV. The show has around 100,000 viewership online, while almost whole Pakistan watches the show daily and the sole reason is the presence and comical conversation of audience’s aziz tareen Azizi. Azizi, Sohail Ahmed, in the show, mocks and gives his comical views, full of satire on the current affairs and situation of present day government.

When it comes to the genre of Drama, Sohail Ahmed has proved himself well. Some of his famous dramas are ‘Mashwara Muft Hai’, ‘Sohail Clinic’, ‘Qabza’, ‘Qasmi Kahaniyan’, ‘Man chale ka sauda’ etc., which have not only provided Sohail Ahmed the opportunity to prove his acting skills, but also to verify it. He has mostly done serious roles in Dramas. Sohail Ahmed is also a director. He recently directed his second drama serial ‘SHAAM’. Pakistan drama industry consists of very few actors from the past decades, who were perfect actors. Not even then, but even today they are a complete institute within themselves. They know the art of acting. Sohail Asghar is one such perfect actor. He is indeed a seasoned talent of Pakistan.

Sohail Asghar was born in Multan. He completed his education from Multan. Later on, he joined Radio Pakistan, Multan, and from there his destination started shaping up. He did radio from 1978 to 1988 in Multan. Mean while he started working in theatre also. This improved his acting germs a lot. There came a time, when he left radio and started a Carpet business with his cousin. He was confused about choosing his career. But he had no idea that his career had been already written divinely.

After one year in business, he left it too and came to Lahore. There he joined radio again and got reconnected with his destined career. From radio, TV director, Nusrat Thakur selected him and offered him a role in his play. Mr. Sohail Asghar did his first play , Raat, from PTV Lahore. His acting was immensely appreciated in that play, though it was not a lead role.  He gained huge popularity through his play Khwahish. This appreciation encouraged Mr. Sohail and then he never looked back.

Some of his dramas are Laag, Man chale ka Sauda, Khwahish, Raat, Nangay Paon, Malka e Alam, Shabdaig, , Waqt, Piyas, and Chand Grehain.
