Engineering is one field where the professionals are constantly discovering ways to improve the standard of living by creating bold and innovative solutions that connect science with life. In Pakistan there are several engineering universities in various parts of the country providing high standard and up to date education to the students. PEC – Pakistan Engineering Council regulates the educational courses of these universities and is constantly striving to promote and improve the quality of education in the area of engineering and technology.
Some of these institutions are recognized throughout the world and they also attract foreign students. Given below is the list of the top engineering universities of Pakistan. Please note that it is not in any kind of order.

My two cents:
1. 2. NUST-National University of Science & Technology (Islamabad) AND
12. National University of Science & Technology (Rawalpindi)
are not separate universities. NUST before shifting to Isb was considered to be Headquartered at Rawalpindi.
2. 20. Pakistan Navy Engineering College (Karachi) PNEC is a constituent college of NUST.
As far as you ‘ratings’ are concerned i pretty much agree with them..
I think the list is not updates…Comsats on 16th?? How its posible??

University of engineering and technology (N.W.F.P)
is at number 6 at least..
National university of computer and Emerging sciences (FAST) is not among top universities. everyone gets addmission there. everyone gets passing marks easily. PEC should take notice of this.

It’s not Center for Advance Studies in Engineering & technology (Islamabad & Quetta), its only Center for Advance Studies in Engineering (CASE) Islamabad (UET Taxila).
I DONT AGREE WITH THIS RANKING.NED IS NOT ON NUMBER 4 .IIEE(INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS ENGG KHI)FIRST AND ONLY INSTITUTE IN PAK AND SECON IN SOUTH ASIA PROVIDING B.E PROGRAM IS TOO MUCH BEST THAN NED!
